Shawn went to Caleb's award ceremony today.
Mr. Smart Pants received the following awards
Super Reader (meeting all his reading goals all year)
Creative Writing Award
Certificate of Achievement (100% on all Dolch Sight Words, which he knew on the first day of first grade)
BUG (Bringing up Grades)
Super Vocabulary Award (for using advanced vocabulary during class)
Roaring Reader
3rd place 321 books read this year
2nd place 394 books read on Big Universe
3rd place Level 30 in Reading
Now in case you didn't notice none of these awards are for good behavior. But hey at least I am raising a literate trouble maker!
Shawn took videos but I'll have to have him edit them down, since he took a couple really long videos!
