Update

Cousin Blake came to visit. He took one look at Uncle Shawn and started laughing like this I couldn't get him to stop.

I (Jenn) don't have time to pee! And I'm serious about this, the other day i was in the bathroom and Shawn started screaming because the baby was choking on his food. Ok so i had time to pee but not use toilet paper! I am only typing this now because i have locked the baby in his bedroom with a baby gate and some toys. I'm sure this will only get worse with age, once he is big enough to climb over the gate, i'll just tie him to his bed.

He's at the age where he would like to help with everything! Here he is "helping" Daddy with the laundry.

The child has decided that, at nine months old, he deserves privacy, and has started shutting himself in his room. He does this all the time with no incident. (Although whenever he starts I run over there because I am terrified of his fingers getting slammed!) When we want to go in we have to knock loudly and open the door every slowly and say, "Can I come in." If he laughs and pushes the door shut in your face this is a NO.

Caleb is 9 months old. He is 20lbs 14 oz. He took his first steps by himself. Only from one object to another (Daddy to couch) Sometimes he gets lazy and tries to just leap over there, ONE BIG step, a reach, and a leap! The above picture is of him standing by himself.

Jenn (aka mommy) is at the peak of stress. EOG's at school are in 2 weeks. Yard sale is in a few weeks. Caleb eats everything in sight. He poops too much. House is dirty. Nine month olds think they are ready to walk. 5th graders think they are grown. But they watch television and play playstation, instead of reading at night. They can't read, but need to pass a reading test to impress "No child left behind". 2 words divine intervention.
