The official due date is August 1st. Which means I have to make it through a North Carolina summer first! Yeah!! :) Oh and March 6th, is my next appointment. We should be able to start calling "it" He or She after that.

One good thing about us being all the way in Washington... no NC or LA summers. =)
time for some A/C. and you were talking about luckily being down south so the baby won't get as many colds! from my new experience- i think being cool in the 9th month and during delivery may be a better option!
Quilting granny got to watch, but had to "be quiet." Can you believe that? And this wasn't the best picture. but he was tired of being prodded and measured, so he was just chilling out. During the ultra sound You could actually see a full side profile of all his litle bones, like an x-ray. skull, ribs, full length of arms and legs, curled up into a fetal postion. At on time the nurse even got a good picture of one of his ears, then another time one of his hands, and you could even see all 5 fingers. And they were counted and noted on the chart. The nurse looked at "everything" and so did I over her shoulder!
atleast other people got to see the ultrasound- i got motion sickness from mine and had to crane my neck into impossible angles to even get a view of the screen, next time i'm demanding to be placed in another direction! just wait til later ultrasounds- you'll be able to see the face.
